“I met my husband seven years ago and he has always had a passion for being in the military!
He talked about it day and night!
Once he graduated college he left for the Marines the next month.
We had a 1-year-old son at the time. I was nervous, of course, because I knew there was going to be a big change in our lives.
He graduated boot camp three months later, and fast forwarding to three years later, we have two children and he is a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
He is so dedicated to serving.
He trains more than 500 Marines a year in Marine Corps Martial Arts.
He looks forward to serving 20 more years in the USMC to help sustain the transformation for the new generation of Marines.
‘Always faithful’ isn’t just two words to him — It’s a way of life for him.
Every morning, he wakes up happy to go to work, to train, lead, guide and mentor his Marines, and anyone else that may need assistance. He is truly dedicated!
He means so much to me.
We have been together for seven years and I’m still amazed at how nervous I am whenever I’m around him!
I cry to myself A LOT because I know the days are coming when he has to leave for longer than just a few months.
I miss him when he is sitting right next me, so I know I will miss him when he is 1,000 miles away.
He is the best husband, father and partner ever! I thank God every day for him.
He treats me so kindly and never says ‘no.’
I don’t mean that in an ‘I’m spoiled’ type way.
He rarely says ‘no’ because he knows I have sacrificed so much to be with him.
I’m not around family and he knows I sometimes get a little stir crazy because I’m with kids 24/7.
He just wants me to know that I am appreciated, which I do.
I know he 100 percent appreciates everything I do!
How could I not? He tells me just about every day.
I’m so proud of my husband and the man I have watched him grow into.
He is truly my everything!
I could go on and on about him. I really could!
He is my definition of ‘perfect.’”
