“To the mama who is feeling the feels this week: it’s all going to be okay.
Summer is officially over and we might be feeling ‘mom guilt’ for any number of things.
Not taking enough vacation time this summer.
Not spending enough time at the pool.
Not completing the summer bucket list…or never starting one in the first place.
Maybe you’re feeling guilty because you had to work the first day of school so you couldn’t walk your baby to the bus stop for the first time.
Maybe you waited too long to go back-to-school shopping and your kiddo isn’t happy with what was left in the store.
Maybe you’re dreading the rushed morning routine to get everyone out the door on time without lots of yelling and tears.
Maybe you’re already overwhelmed by the fall sports schedule.
Maybe you’re missing your baby who is away at college for the first time (or 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time!).
Maybe you’re feeling guilty for planning fun family adventures without them.
I could go on for days, but you get the point. Your kids love you. You’re doing the best you can and that is ENOUGH.
It’s okay to feel the feels and it’s also okay to release the guilt. You’re doing such a great job! I wish you could see yourself the way I see you.”
