DISTURBING: ‘Want to freak yourself out? I’m gonna show how much of your information is stored without you even realizing it’

In an eye-opening twitter thread, Dylan Curran outlined how our information is being stored by the likes of Google and Facebook.

Dylan wrote, “This is every place I have been in the last twelve months in Ireland.”

The thread is stirring reactions far and wide online. While some believe users are aware of the risks, others have been completely caught off guard at the lack of privacy. “Even if you delete your search history and phone history, Google STILL stores everything until you go in and delete everything, and you have to do this on all devices.”

Interested in downloading the data Google keeps about you? Dylan was too. The file can be yours, it would just take 3 MILLION Word documents.

But good news, the Facebook download is only 400,000 Word documents.

In one of the more compelling tweets, Dylan notes, “We would never let the government or a corporation put cameras/microphones in our homes or location tracker on us, but we just went ahead and did it ourselves.”
